Russian passenger plane with 47 on board goes missing in Amur Region

A twin turboprop Antonov An-24 carrying 47 people, including five children, went missing en route from Blagoveshchensk to Tynda in Russia’s Amur Region. The plane lost contact shortly before landing. Search efforts are underway, hindered by the dense taiga forest. No wreckage or survivors have been found yet.
