Two more people, identified as Yash and Taleem, and a minor have been arrested in connection with the murder of Delhi University student Nikhil Chouhan. A total of six people have been arrested so far. The incident occurred on 18 June outside Aryabhatta College on Benito Juarez Marg in south-west Delhi. Police are still looking for the weapon used to stab Chouhan and are questioning those arrested to ascertain the exact sequence of events. The killing followed an altercation between Chouhan and three others on 11 June after one of them allegedly harassed Chouhan's girlfriend.

A man defrauded the Roseate House luxury hotel in Delhi of around ?58 lakh by staying for nearly two years without paying his bill. In connivance with hotel employees, he reportedly falsified entries in his account, while staff did not inform management of his lengthy stay or that his cheques had bounced. An FIR was filed on 24 May against Ankush Dutta and Prem Prakash, among others, for criminal breach of trust, cheating, forgery and criminal conspiracy.

Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh filed a complaint with Delhi Police alleging extortion and threats from a person claiming to be Goldy Brar, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Singh's complaint was forwarded to the anti-terror unit, which registered a case of extortion and criminal intimidation. Brar is the alleged mastermind behind the 2022 murder of Punjab singer and politician Sidhu Moosewala, and is said to make extortion and threat calls to businessmen and celebrities on behalf of the imprisoned Bishnoi.
