Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday said his government has submitted a "confidential report" on the investigation into the case to Haryana chief minister and director general of police.

The FIR has been registered against the Minister and three others following a complaint lodged by D Polappa, under the Prevention of Atrocities Against SC-ST Act, and sections 504 and 506 of the IPC, the police said.

In the last hearing on August 22, the court had taken note of the status report filed on behalf of the Enforcement Directorate concerning the investigation in relation to the Surekha Family.

The incident took place at a public Ganesh festival venue in Gitanjali chowk locality late Tuesday night, said an official.
